About me

People are like Doctor Who’s TARDIS – they may look small on the outside, but there’s so much to discover inside.

As a Knowledge Herder, my role is to research, listen, guide, record, analyse, curate, write, edit, design and project manage; most importantly, I make it easy and enjoyable for you to create a Chronicle.

Having interviewed hundreds of people in many different contexts over the years, I am practiced at drawing out stories in a respectful, accurate and low-stress way.   Additionally, I have worked across businesses of all sizes, as well as community groups and social services, science, technology and innovation, farming, infrastructure, and with families. These experiences have provided me with a broad knowledge base and the ability to quickly come up to speed with new topics.

I work with others as needed for co-writing, proofreading and editing, design, photography, and providing technical and cultural input.

On a personal note, I live with my partner on a small property in Taranaki.  We are developing our place regeneratively with the aim of producing delicious, nutrient-dense heritage food without external inputs, and in a way that actively enhances the health and vitality of our little piece of paradise and all who live here.
